Attend an HPG Affinity Group to Improve Services for Trans and Nonbinary People

Dear HIV Planning Group Members and community stakeholders:

You are being invited to lend your collective expertise and experience to shape and structure the new Maryland Integrated HIV Prevention and Care Services Plan. Biweekly meetings are being held through June 2022 to discuss program priorities, describe strategic interventions, and develop measurable outcomes. Over the next several months, the HPG Community Engagement Live Listening Sessions (CELLS) will address critical concerns and communities.

The operational process for each of the HPG CELLS will follow the same design:

• Meeting time 90 MINUTES (10:00 am - 11:30 am EACH MEETING)
  (3 Sessions per concern / community)
• Session 1: general discussion of concern / community
• Session 2: gather and prioritize recommendations to address the problem
• Session 3: generate time-phased responses and measurable outcomes.

The regularly scheduled quarterly HPG meetings (indicated by *) will be used to review the current standing of completed work by the HPG CELLS and to engage in other targeted discussions. It is our goal to intentionally involve all HPG members and stakeholders in the development and implementation of the new multi-year plan.
